The purpose of this blog is to share our travels around the world with anyone who may be interested.  There will be many pictures to explore as well as reviews of various locations, restaurants, hotels, etc...  When we are not traveling or do not have a new experience to share, it is my hope that this blog will find a different way to bring a little "joy" to your world.

As an introduction, we are a couple in our mid-thirties that enjoy traveling and learning about different countries and cultures.  My husband loves history and food.  I love shopping, food and the people we meet everywhere we go.  We are both very much into current events and have rather different perspectives.  Most of the posts will be from yours truly, an eternal optimist who truly believes that people are essentially good and that good will always triumph.
