Copenhagen- Tivoli: Where is your happy place?

There are so many places that we have traveled to that have brought me joy, but there is one place that is truly my happy place.  It is a place that many people love and some obviously hate.  You will probably see quite a few posts about this place, but for now, we will focus on a charming spot that served as part of the inspiration for my happy place.
Welcome to Tivoli by night and day.

Not the original, but an exact replica made by the same sculptor.  This was on loan as the original Little Mermaid was in China for the World Expo.

We didn't ride any of the rides, but just enjoyed the atmosphere,  With the exchange rate this summer, it would have cost us nearly $10 per person for the cheapest ride or about $60 per person for an all day ride pass in addition to our entry fee which was about $14 per person plus a reentry fee.  There weren't that many rides we were interested in, so, we decided to save the money. In retrospect, that was silly.  We had already spent so much on the trip that this little bit wouldn't have made a big difference.  Perhaps if this wouldn't have been our last stop we would have thought differently.
There was live music the night we were there which was a Friday evening and it just added that extra something special.  The large crowd was singing along and truly enjoying a beautiful evening amongst the twinkling lights of the park.
